Don't get scammed by a lousy doctor

In my opinion, nothing is worse than taking advantage of and trying to secure financial gain off of someone who is in pain.

Unfortunately, this happens a lot and people get suckered out of their hard-earned money everyday, leaving them still in pain and with less money.

I’m sure people out there have encountered one of these “modern day snake oil salesmen” doctors.

Who are these “doctors?”

They are the ones out there that preach about the “silent killer” that is subluxation.  For those of you that don’t know what subluxation is, it’s a “technical” way of saying your “bone is out of alignment and is interfering with your normal neural flow.”

Chiropractic was founded on the idea of subluxations and the vast majority of chiropractors focus on “correcting” subluxations.  I personally don’t believe in the whole idea of correcting subluxations or performing a manipulation, but that is a whole different blog post.

I choose to fix soft tissue dysfunction.

There is a crazy faction of chiropractors that have taken the subluxation correction to a whole new level of bat shit crazy.  They truly believe they can heal cancer, prevent mental disease, mass shootings and anything else you are ailing from by simply doing the following — “Set the bone and let God do the rest.”  Their main goal is to rid the world of subluxations one adjustment at a time….

Usually in order to “rid” the world of this ailment, they recommend a rather extensive treatment plan, say 60 to 80 visits over a year with a lofty payment plan up front.  The upside is that you will be free of subluxations and can live life the way you are supposed to! (Hopefully you are picking up on my sarcasm here.)  Even better in this situation is they make you sign a “contract” before treatment to ensure that you are on board with the treatment.

If you end up having half of brain during treatment and realize this is all a whole lot of hocus-pocus and decide to stop care early, it’s going to cost you a lot! Even worse, you could even be taken to court for the rest of the money since you did sign a contract.  Seriously, what the hell is wrong with some doctors nowadays? When I hear stories like this or have to have a conversation with the doctor it makes me want to pull all of my hair out.

So here’s a point of caution…

If you are having pain or dealing with an injury PLEASE avoid these “snake oil” doctors and get to a doctor who can accurately diagnose and fix your injury.
